The school enjoys the support of a strong Governing body made up of representatives from a range of groups including parents, school staff and clergy from the local community. It takes a strategic approach to guiding and supporting the school and monitoring development and improvement.

Message from the Chair

As the father of three boys, who have passed through the Blue School gates from Nursery to Year six and beyond, I am proud to say that those early formative years helped lay the true and positive foundations to their future lives and will hopefully stay with them long into adulthood. What more could a parent ask?

Now, as Chair of the Governors, it is my responsibility to help ensure that all children who pass through the Blue School gates are offered the same foundations in the provision of education, care and guidance that my children were given. Nothing less would ever be acceptable.

We move in exciting times and the future development and continuing success of our school is testament to the commitment of its staff and Head Teacher. Though times are changing the ethos of excellence for and by all will always be the mark of this school's continued success.

Yours

Roger Ferris
