Medical Matters

Please let us know if your child has any medical or dietary needs. Our Welfare Officer, Mrs McLoughlin, is able to supervise children with inhalers for asthma. No other medicine, including throat or cough sweets should be brought to school. If your child has a minor accident, or is unwell at school our Welfare Officer will inform you.
If you have a change of address or telephone number, this can be edited yourself on your Arbor profile.

The hearing, height and weight of all the children is checked within the first year of starting school (height and weight are measured again in Year 6).

Awareness of Infection

If your child is unwell and unable to attend school, please inform the school office by 9.30am on the day that they are not attending. When your child returns to school, please send in a letter confirming the reason for their absence, or email the school on absence@theblueschool.com

Please note that if your child is suffering from vomiting or diarrhoea, the London Borough of Hounslow advice states that children should not return to school until 48 hours after the last bout, in order to avoid spreading infection (please see Guidance Infection in Schools information on the button link opposite. (Above if viewing on smartphones).
