At The Blue School, we are proud of our uniform and we consider it of great importance.
A uniform means that children can be identified with the school easily and can be seen to be members of the school. Importance is attached to a smart appearance and children in the Infant and Junior Departments are expected to wear the school uniform. Parents of children in the Nursery class may dress their children as desired but wearing of school uniform is not discouraged especially when they are preparing to transfer to the main school.
Please ensure that all items of uniform and clothing are clearly named.
Nursery - 2019/20
Uniform in the Nursery is not compulsory. However, if your child would like to wear uniform, a Blue School polo t-shirt with school logo must be worn and NOT blouse/shirt and tie.
Reception - 2019/20
Uniform in the main school is compulsory. However, in the Reception classes, children wear the Blue School polo t-shirt with the school logo. No blouses/shirts or ties are worn in the Reception class and this is for ease of changing when the children have PE lessons and for comfort and accessibility exploring the indoor and outdoor classroom, including messy, water and malleable play.
Note: The Blue School polo shirts are available from SANCO (our uniform stockist). These are compulsory as they have the Blue School logo printed on them. Plain white polo shirts are not allowed.
