The Governing Body has now ended the consultation.
The Admissions Criteria for 2027-2028 has now changed and are as follows
ADMISSIONS CRITERIA
As The Blue School is a Church of England, voluntary aided (VA) school, The
Reception Class has 60 places available. Where there are more applications than
places available, the following criteria, which are set down in order of strict priority, will
be used:
- Looked after children and previously looked after children. (See note 1)
- Siblings. (See Note 2)
- Children of staff (see Note 3)
- Active membership by the child’s family of a Church of England Church.
- i) Children whose parent or guardian have regular attendance at public worship at
- All Saints Church, Isleworth.
- All Souls Church, St Margarets.
- St John’s Church with St Mary’s Church Worton Road, Isleworth
- St Francis of Assisi Church, Isleworth
- St Mary’s Church Spring Grove with St Luke’s Church Hounslow East
- ii) Children whose parent or guardian have regular attendance at public worship at any other Church of England Church.
- Active membership by the child’s family of another Christian
denomination (See Note 5)
- Active member of another Major World faith. (See Note 6)
- Any other children
In the event of oversubscription in any of the above categories, the Governors will give priority in the following order:
- i) Proximity between home to school .
- ii) Tie breaker
