Welcome!
We warmly welcome parents and carers to get involved in school life by volunteering in a range of roles. Your time, support, and enthusiasm make a real difference to our school community—and we greatly value it.
Ways You Can Help
Volunteers support us in many important ways. Typical opportunities include:
-
Stationery tasks (photocopying, laminating, etc.)
-
Gardening and outdoor maintenance
-
Reading one-on-one with children
-
Assisting with classroom displays
-
Speaking during enrichment weeks
-
Helping out on school trips
If you have a particular skill or passion you’d like to share, we’d love to hear from you!
Becoming a Volunteer
To volunteer in school, you will need an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check. This is a standard safeguarding requirement for any adult working in schools.
Step 1: Submit Your ID Documents
To start your DBS application, please bring three valid forms of identification to the school reception. Most parents provide:
-
A valid passport
-
A driving licence
-
A recent council tax bill
If you’d like to join our team of amazing parent volunteers, or if you have any questions, please contact the school office.
We’d love to have you involved!
